On this confused start to Spring 2018, I bring you an image for Throwback Thursday shot during another confused start to spring on March 25, 2013 in McLean, Virginia.
Some of the original text follows:
"Winter 2012-2013 was an unusual season. We never really got any snow until after the new year and most of that came pretty late such as this March 25th snow that we got which came after all of our spring flowers had already been planted. I took a few of these unusual shots of spring flowers peaking their way through the snow for glimpse at the sun."
Looks like Winter 2012-2013 was pretty similar to 2017-2018, except we never got any significant snow until Winter Storm Toby hit at March 20th.
Don't give up hope! Spring is coming! I can feel it!
