In the early spring we worked with a brilliant landscaper to step up our curbside appeal. One of the new flowers we added was a butterfly bush. For one reason or another we didn't have a lot of visitors over the spring and summer but over the past couple of weeks I finally started seeing some. Every time I did however, I either couldn't get to my camera, couldn't get to it fast enough, or scared away the butterflies trying to get close enough for the shot.
Today that changed as I had this very patient monarch who was happy to hang out and take it's time from flower to flower giving me just the opportunity I needed.
Happy Friday my friends!
