In pursuit of autumnal activities today, we headed off to Winchester, Virginia, to see apples, pumpkins, taste some cider, and just enjoy this beautiful day. Our destination of choice for this adventure was Marker-Miller Orchards Farm Market and Bakery.
Just outside their market, Marker-Miller had these remarkable Sheffield Pink Chrysanthemums in bloom that immediately caught my eye and made me jealous because we don't have any color but green in our home landscaping by this time of the year. When these mums drew me in for a closer look I noticed that there were literally hundreds of bees all over the flowers. What did I do? Retreat to the car to grab my camera and mount a macro lens.
Hope all of you enjoyed as beautiful a fall day as we did here in Northern Virginia!
